Surrendering A Pet
SHERYL'S DEN IS 100% FOSTER HOME BASED. DUE TO LIMITED FACILITIES, WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT ANIMALS AS A FOSTER HOME BECOMES AVAILABLE.
All animals are evaluated before acceptance, and by appointment only. We hope you have exhausted all other options before you consider surrendering your pet. Please get proper training, enlist the help of family and friends, find an apartment that allows pets, get shots for allergies, etc. Your decision to surrender is final and you will be transferring ownership of your pet to Sheryl's Den Animal Rescue. You will not be able to have the animal back. Because we are a non-profit organization and run on donations, you will be asked to leave a contribution when you surrender an animal. All pets must be up-to-date with shots and spayed/neutered. The average cost of care for an animal during its stay is well over $300.00
