YOU CAN MAKE A GIFT TO SHERYL’S DEN ANIMAL RESCUE IN YOUR WILL, OR LIVING TRUST, WHICH WILL PROVIDE A TAX DEDUCTION FOR YOUR ESTATE.

A Will can name Sheryl’s Den Animal Rescue as a direct beneficiary for a specific sum of money or a specific asset (such as shares of stock) or real estate.

The gift to Sheryl’s Den Animal Rescue can be an outright gift or Sheryl’s Den can be named as a residuary beneficiary (Sheryl’s Den would receive the balance of a trust after specific amounts have been paid to other beneficiaries). You can add Sheryl’s Den to your existing Will through a codicil, without rewriting your Will.

The following is a suggested form for bequests in your will:

"I give and bequeath to Sheryl’s Den Animal Rescue a not-for-profit 501c3, the sum of $_________ to be used for general purposes (or for a specific purpose indicated)".
